The Camden Challenge Prize is a recurring innovation competition that tackles a different Camden mission each time. There’s a financial prize for whoever can most effectively solve a problem and demonstrate impact.
The Camden Challenge Prize 2025
The first ever Camden Challenge Prize aimed to spark new ideas and bring fresh perspectives to our Food Mission.
The winner of the Camden Challenge Prize 2025 is Soil Systems. They will transform food waste into nutrient-rich soil pellets through a fast, odour-free fermentation process, creating a circular link between restaurants and local growers.
The runner-up is Limetrack. SMART wheelie bins that automatically and cost-effectively record valuable food-waste data. Limetrack will provide hospitality businesses with precise, actionable insights by integrating food-waste data with Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) systems.
