We make Camden, communities taking action is a series of events kickstarting a chance for every citizen in the borough to get inspired and involved in helping to make Camden a better, fairer place to live.
Together, we are launching four missions to make ambitious and transformational change in Camden by 2030:
- Access to food for all: everyone in the borough will be able to eat well every day with nutritious, affordable, sustainable food.
- Sustainable neighbourhoods: Camden’s estates and their neighbourhoods will be creative and sustainable.
- Opportunities for young people: every young person will have access to economic opportunity that enables them to be safe and secure.
- Diversity in positions of power: those holding positions of power in Camden will be as diverse as our community – and the next generation ready to follow.
Get involved!
From Monday 20 September we’ll be showcasing some of the inspiring social action across Camden, and there’s lots of opportunities for you to get involved. This includes a programme of activities and inspiring discussions – in-person and online – highlighting some of the amazing work that is already underway, sparking ideas for more ways we can come together to tackle challenges in the borough.
We’re calling on our citizens, local organisations and businesses to get involved in practical ways to make change. How do you feel about the borough you live in, and what role could you play in inspiring transformation?
Take a look at our events calendar below to see how you can get involved.

Making change in Camden
We want everyone in Camden to have the chance to succeed, for nobody to get left behind and for everybody to have a voice. We know that no one organisation or person can achieve these missions by themselves or overnight. We also know that everyone has something to offer. This is why we are calling on all our communities in the borough to take action and share their ideas, experiences and skills. Together we can make change in Camden.
